Stencilling kitchen utensils onto roadsigns
After a tutorial with Sarah I've decided to stencil the kitchen utensils onto the roadsigns-obliterate the transient, the roadsigns with the domestic- the kitchen utensils, to domesticate, make permanent the transient.

I covered the border with tape to create a border. Initially the plan was to completely obliterate the road sign but I changed my mind. It's important for the viewer to recognise that the canvas is an actual road sign |
|
I experimented with colours. My colour palette included all te colours of the road signs- bold, vivid red, blue, yellow and black. |

The road sign is becoming indistinguishable. |

The yield is now completely covered in spoons. |
